The Figure Of The Lonesome Evening Stroller Was Celebrated Especially At The Beginning Of The 20Th Century, Along With The ‘Dark Side’ Of The Big City And The New Electric Billboards. Today, Almost A Whole Century Later, Cities At Night Tend To Be Less Picturesque At First Sight While The Technical Possibilities Of Photography Are More Advanced. And Yet, The Special Charm Of Putting Everyday Architecture And Landscapes Quite Literally Into Another Light Still Works.
